happy dads day!

so this year for fathers day i moved away from the traditional dads gift and decided my Dad needs more.
So in the spirit of my new found freedom of biking i decided to share the Love. I had a project bike that has been hanging out in my parents garage for well..... a very long time.
I was inspired by seeing my pops go for a little cruise on it while it was transported once again from house to house. So here is some before and after....


Now this Bike is a 1935 Elgin Cruiser. its Old ad beat up ( LOL pops) But it rides smooth and is solid. Reliable and strong. They don't make bikes like this anymore ( Pops your the same way). Now for the Theme of the Bike...John Deere.
So here is the finished project. If you want the nitty gritty details i'll email them to you... but i will never redo a vintage leather seat again by hand.
