where to park?

so here is where i can park ( for the time being).
See when you ride you have to park your bike somewhere, and i found there are a couple of good spots to park near my store.
Now unfortunately they all reside in a fire tunnel and more then likely cause people to stop and stare as you dismount your ride and walk through the world of Somerset smelling and looking like a commoner, But Hey whatever.
They ( being the mall public relations) have not yet put a bike rack on the north side of the mall. yes there are two sides there is a bike rack on the south side but my store is separated by a very very long bridge which i can not get to when the mall closes at night.
So here i park.
Now whenever the new bike rack goes in that is where you will find my bike rain or shine.

And i am trying to take a picture each day i ride so i can show a little bit of my daily commute and nerdy world to all.

When i get there

days that i ride to work i get there early.
why? because i sweat like crazy once i get there thats why.
see most people will leave home with just enough time to get to work. Now why that works in a car try doing that on a bike and that will be the day you get a flat ( or your bike light falls off and you have to ride back six blocks to find it.).
I like a easy ride to work lets give an example shall we...
today i worked at 1pm
left house at 12:10 got to work at 12:30
enjoyed a nice cold drink from the ol' water bottle before making the change into work clothes. ( yeah don't wear the clothes your working in on a hot days ride... you'll be the smelly guy who rides to work for sure.
Now today i got my self a banana chocolate smoothie drink. to cool down with. it was good.
good times

And this week is the dream cruise...google that see the traffic fear the gearhead.

UPDATE 2008

Yeah long time no blog....
so here is the recap..
riding to work...hit by car...MEH the bike... out of commission.
so had to find another ride. Got a road bike from a family member, able to keep riding. now all of my free time was poured into fixing the bike that started it all. so the blog was put aside.
With that said i have finally finished my commuter Bike. its set for single speed with the wheel converted. the frame is a little tweaked but hey who cares right.
So its time to ride.
